The LA
Badgers, UW Foundation and the WAA invite alumni and friends to a special night
at Griffith Observatory.
Description: The
night will feature a tour of the observatory, the show in the Samuel Oschin
Planetarium, dinner, guest speakers and an opportunity to look through the
rooftop telescope. Laura Danly, UW Alumna and Curator of Griffith
Observatory, and UW Astronomy Professor Eric Wilcots, will speak to us in the
Leonard Nimoy Event Horizon theatre sharing their passion for astronomy with
all who love the sky, and those who want to learn more. Space is limited so
book your tickets early.
